I will not approve a request for a Mac if AutoCAD or LT are the target app to be used. The preferred GPU in our PCs is a Quadro - poring through Autodesk's recommended GPUs for their latest versions of LT and AutoCAD offer dozens of Quadro configurations, with only a few Radeon Pro or AMD variants. I suspect, but don't know, that Autodesk's support for AutoCAD apps stopped when - in late 2016 - Apple stopped supporting NVIDIA altogether. My company has several Macs in service, none have AutoCAD apps installed due mostly to zero support options and no certified systems. Autodesk does not support any of the GPUs/CPUs in any of the newer Macs (since 2016, mobile or desktop).
